I’ve been written off twice. I proved them wrong both times.
At 15, my school principal said I had “zero chance” after I failed 6 out of 9 subjects. I made a promise that day: “I will prove that I can.”
10 months later, I did.
25 years later, I was leading global brands – Apple, Samsung, Nike, Adidas, Dyson – as Regional Vice President at Lazada Group.
When retrenchment came in 2023, I learned that confidence wasn’t built with your resume.
